Moscow Brewing Company launched its operations in September 2008. We are Russia’s most modern brewery, and also operate our own distribution and logistics center located 3 kilometers from Moscow's Ring Road (in Mytischi). The project was funded by Sberbank and Detroit Investments, with a total investment for Phase 1 of over $300 million US dollars. The brewery’s initial production capacity was 2.4 million hectoliters per annum, which will be expanded to 7 million hectoliters per annum in the coming years.
Today, the company supplies a wide range of beverages, including its own brands: Zhiguli Barnoe, Hamovniki, Ale Mohnaty Shmel and Kvas Yakhont; licensed brands such as OeTTINGER, FAXE PREMIUM, effect®, Orangina, Carling, Bear Beer, Hollandia, Lapin Kulta, Kirin Ichiban, and imported brands such as Budweiser Budvar, Erdinger, Bitburger, Radeberger, Clausthaler, Bombardier, Perrier, Vittel, Pago, and others.

First production of Kvas Yakhont . 1st filling of Zhiguli Barnoye Barkhatnoye beer. Zhiguli Barnoye awarded Silver Medal at the tasting competition DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft — German Agricultural Society). Zhiguli Barnoye awarded a Silver Medal, Hamovniki Pilzenskoye and Hamovniki Myunkhenskoye awarded Bronze Medal at the International Beer Challenge 2013 in London. Launch of Carling beer in cooperation with Molson Coors Brewing Company, USA. Hamovniki brand receives a Bronze Medal at the worldwide competition exclusively devoted to packaging design Pentawards.
